Last year’s inaugural T2 tournament was a great opportunity for me to play in the industry co-ed division with my fellow Hawaiian Electric coworkers and enjoy friendly competition while continuing Hawaiian Electric’s long-standing tradition of supporting local community events. In signature Ed Chun style, the event combines top-notch grass volleyball – including some celebrated local players – with free family activities, music and entertainment, food trucks, and the relaxing North Shore setting at Turtle Bay. Everyone has a good time, so much so, that our Hawaiian Electric team is excited to return this year to play again!

T2 was a great experience for me. I got to play with my best friends and we even got sponsored by Y U Trippin. We got pretty sick jerseys which we were really thankful and lucky to receive. Before T2 I have never played in a grass tournament, so it's an important memory in my volleyball journey. Besides playing, I got to watch a bunch of matches of extremely experienced and great volleyball players. Filled with awesome food, my family, friends, and intense volleyball, the T2 tournament was one of the best tournaments I've participated in. Oh, and my friends and I won our age division, so that's pretty rad too.

I loved the turtle bay venue location! The competition was legit...the food trucks was ONO! We're excited to defend our title!
